Shearer is Director of Charlotte Hypnosis. In private practice
since 1986, Kathryn is board-certified by every major hypnosis
organization, including the American Council of Hypnotist
Examiners, and the Association to Advance Ethical Hypnosis.

the 1970's, Kathryn developed and directed a residential treatment
program for disturbed adolescents. It was during these years
that she experienced hypnosis as a client. The technique helped
her stop smoking after every other method had failed. |

years of study in hypnosis with internationally known experts,
Kathryn has developed expertise in treating problems of habit,
stress-related illnesses and anxiety. Her work has been featured
locally in the Charlotte Observer, The Business Journal
of Charlotte, Our Kids and Teens magazine, North
Carolina magazine, and nationwide on the public radio program, Marketplace.
